About the Foundation

The Conservation Halton Foundation is an entrepreneurial and effective charitable organization that raises funds for stewardship and education about our natural environment. Our vision is a healthy watershed with clean streams, vigorous forests and abundant green space that make our community a healthy place to live, learn, work and play.
Since our founding in 1974, we have raised more than $5 million to help care of injured birds of prey, to plant trees, to purchase important natural lands and to teach children about the value of nature.
We are currently providing funding for the Halton Children’s Water Festival, the Mountsberg Adopt a Raptor program, the Trees for Watershed Health community tree planting program, the Burlington BlueCreeks Project and other programs.
